The night's events just reminded of something we (or I) often take for granted - a mother's love.

Was trying to do my seemingly impossibly hard C programming assignment, and was on the verge of going bonkers coz i had hardly thought of an appropriate algorithm to encode the dumb thingy in (yeah i know, i haven't gotten used to the lingo yet). Told my mom about it, and what do you know, she comes back in the room only a few scribbles on my paper later with a big bowl of piping hot Campbell's Chicken Soup. A simple gesture, but it reminded me of how so often we take our moms for granted. They wash stuff, cook stuff, take care of you, and yet we (or I) find it so easy in the midst of everything to just forget how much they do. And we often only remember them one day in a year. Yeah, i know, i'm a sentimental guy...but that bowl of chicken soup really opened my eyes again. Says more than a good meal.

So why don't you go give your mom a big hug today, if you haven't done so for a while? =)

I love you mom.
